"Front desk - trouble checking in because card reader not working. -trouble checking out because a receipt could not be printed. -bathroom soap was empty, asked front desk to fill it when room was made up that day. The room was not made up and soap was still empty. Called front desk and was treated like it was a burden to bring some soap to the room. Parking was limited due to construction vehicles and equipment being parked in guest parking spots. Room - turned on air to cool the room down for sleeping but it shut on and off during the night making the room too hot to sleep comfortably. Front desk staff - staff member who checked us in seemed inexperienced and unsure how to deal with the technical issues. Staff member in the morning said she would make sure housekeeping would take care of the room but the room wasn’t touched. The staff member who finalized checkout was pleasant and tried her best to deal with the inability to print a receipt. I was told a copy of the receipt would be emailed to me. I still have not received it. I have stayed at this hotel 4 previous times and have been pleased with the stays; However, we were very disappointed with this stay from start to finish. "

We got all the way home and my husband dropped his car key to his car at the hotel. I called and they sent me a picture of it to be sure it was ours. It was. They helped us. "This is the 3rd time we've stayed at The Grove. We come once a year at least to watch hockey so it makes it easy having access to the arena right from the lobby. Room's are clean and staff is attentive and helpful. 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟"

"We weren't very happy with this hotel. We stayed for 5 nights They put us next to the back entrance and the door slammed all night. The bed was uncomfortable and so were the pillows. The coffee maker did not have the tray needed to use the pods provided, so no cover. The TV would only stay on about an hour then go blank. We called the front desk just to find out that the manager was aware there was a problem. WHY WOULD YOU RENT OUT A ROOM THAT YOU KNEW THERE WAS GOING TO NE AN ISSUE? HE SAID THE MANAGER WOULD BE IN AT 730AM. we called at 730AM and she came down and unplugged the cable box and it came back on. It happened twice more that day. My husband went to the front desk to complain again. We requested to change rooms. They did move us. The same thing happened with that tv. And there was no tray In that coffee maker. He took it up to the front desk and they said "oh yeah, people accidentally throw those away😐 My son and daughter-in-law stayed in another room with the same issues. The Cable boxes get hot in the cabinet under the TV and they stop working. We WON'T BE RECOMMENDING OR STAYING AT THIS HOTEL EVER AHAIN "
