Clean, modern room ,very comfy bed ,large tv , shower cubicle was small in a large bathroom, needed some outdoor seating areas other than sitting on the entrance steps near the office , there was a small picnic table with bench seats out the back that were in poor condition but in full sun at lunchtime needed sun protection shade over it .

The room was excellent, spacious and well appointed. Cleanest motel we have used by far during the past 12 months. Receptionist was polite and very helpful in suggesting The George Hotel for dining, the sirloin steak was cooked exactly as ordered and my wife's prawn dish was delicious.

Everything about my stay, from check in to check out, was easy. The room was clean & spacious and the spa tub was a wonderful surprise. The only thing I would add is to caution guests that the step up to the tub is a full 2 feet (I’m American & dint know the metric conversion, sorry!), so be prepared for that. Also, anybody taller than 5’4” (again, American measurements) would have to bend to take a shower because the tub brings you so close to the ceiling. The rooms without the tub (showers only) don’t have the same issue.

We were very impressed with the hotel for the price. We stayed there a couple of years ago when it was very run down. New owners have completely renovated all the rooms and have done a great job. The inclusion of cutlery, plates and microwave oven makes it ideal to eat a light meal in the room. Well done.
