"The aesthetic was very lovely, nice ambiance. The actual quality of the room fixtures was inexpensive, not even an exhaust fan in the bathroom. I was sad that the snacks in the room were an up-charge when the hotel was fairly expensive for a night. I thought that there would be more amenities included for the price. The bed was comfortable and the staff was courteous with helping us check-in after hours."

"The Fontaine is in our rotation when traveling to KC. It continues to be very suitable for its location, cleanliness, comfort and value. Are the rooms in need of updating? maybe, but not to extent of calling them tired. We love visiting the bar on the 7th floor off the pool deck, though pool was not open for the season yet on this stay. Some of the best happy hour drinks you'll find anywhere! On matter of bathroom towel racks, none except one in the shower, not sure why there aren't any on...

"We had a very nice clean room. The staff at night were less helpful (not rude, but not going out of the way to help you), but the morning/afternoon staff were amazing. Very nice location, we spent the morning walking the plaza, could get everywhere on the plaza just by walking. It was a great stay, I recommend."

While there was parking in the back, there seemed to be a vehicle there all 3 days with a flat tire that took up a valuable parking spot for guests, so having that spot would have been nice as every...

"My check-in was at 3:00pm. My room was dirty upon arrival including trash about and a slept-in, unmade bed. I wasn’t able to access a clean room until 8:30pm. Communication was poor at best. Unwilling to accommodate for their mistakes. Do not stay here."

"The hotel was in a convenient location to downtown. They were in the midst of renovations, but did a great job of protecting guests from that. The breakfast could have been a little more varied, but it was unique to have a bagel bar (if I’m remembering correctly)."

"The hotel is great, awesome & friendly staff at reception, lobby bar/restaurant & rooftop with downtown views. 5 stays there, valet is now $45 was $25. I’d avoid overpriced sub par Lazia their ‘fine dining’ restaurant. Try other fine dining much better spots. But overall great! "
