Motel literally seemed like it was an abandoned property that recently had beds slapped in it. The floors were so dirty that we did not take our shoes off. The shower curtain was stained with mold. The beds were dirty as well and had not been washed. my pillow had three different peoples hair on the pillowcase. Behind the TV, the corners of the room and just everywhere was absolutely filthy. There was no mattress protectors, just a dirty sheet on top of a dirty stain mattress. We brought our own pillows and blankets in Because it was late and did not want to have to drive any further for the night.

Cheap and it shows. One bed hadn't been changed, floor boards coming up in bathroom, broken tp holder, lobby smelled bad. Employee was pleasant and offered to change the bed which was the only redeeming thing there.

This place was a breath of fresh air compared to the Days Inn Rocky Mount that I went to first. The non-smoking room was actually not smoky. The room was clean. The locks worked. The sheets, comforters, floors etc. were all clean. Showers and told we're working and also clean. Can't ask for more for 30 to 40 dollars. As an added benefit, it's only minutes off I95 and the perfect night stop in NC.

mixup straightened out
The hotel said they were no longer associated with hotels.com, & said you would have to refund any money paid you, but booked directly for $50 They were very kind and were sorry about the midunderstanding.

This seems to be a family operated hotel. The man at the front desk was incredibly rude. The place has over 150 rooms and looks abandoned. I booked a king size bed and upon centering I found it to be two doubles. I immediately went to the front desk because this place was horrible as it was and I wanted at least the right sleeping arrangements. I was told they are completely booked and have no king beds available. Keep in mind I said this place looks abandoned. There were maybe 6 cars there so, no, they were not fully booked of King beds. The pictures look nothing like the inside. Looks like a run down Motel 6 & to compare it to a Red Roof would be a very generous compliment. Dont make my mistake of believing I would get a bright blue room looking up to date and clean. I could not change hotels because it was non-refundable. The cleaning ladies in the morning do not have any uniforms or identification on them to associate them with the hotel. I got a knock on the door from a random woman asking if I was checking out. Very sketchy and disturbing place. Pay $10 more to go else where. TV connection only worked on limited channels because it would freeze or the screen would skip. If you can’t tell by the horrible experience I had, there was no point in asking them to fix the TV. I had to bite the bullet on this night. Shower had mold and it’s questionable if they actually clean the beds. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. Go elsewhere. I regret not respecting myself and saving $10

One of the pillows had stains and so did the comforter. The towels and washcloths were dirty. The remote didn't work. We asked for new towels, front desk said they didn't have any. Moved the dresser there were small roaches running around!

An old hotel with well worn accommodations Quiet , good bed, management solved shortcoming . immediately with a smile. (missing TV remote) Shower and bath floor needed a good cleaning. The price was right for a quick overnight.

Got Swindled
I booked this room through hotels.com, and booked a non-smoking king size room. When we arrived to check in we were told that we would have to pay extra for a non-smoking room because they were all out of regular sized rooms that were non-smoking and we could only have a non-smoking suite. My husband has asthma so we can’t sleep in a smoking room. I told him what we reserved but he still insisted we pay an up charge. Long story short we decided to pay more, but weren’t happy about it. He promised us a newly renovated room. The room was still simple, but it was obviously redone and it was clean. It was not a suite as he had first said it would be. It was clear to both my husband and I that the guy was just trying to take advantage of us and get more money out of us because he could. We weren’t going to lose out on the money we had already paid through the website by leaving and going somewhere else. Soo we were taken advantage of
