"We had a fantastic few days during the June heatwave at the BDM Hotel. The air con in the room was superb as were all the other Hotel facilities. A special mention to the " reception girls " who were so friendly , attentive and helpful. So many things to do and see in Paris , I think we will have to come back ! Best wishes Kev and Ali."

"Great location near Notre Dame, shopping, and a courtyard with several nice restaurants. Walkable and safe neighborhood near metro and LGBTQ bars. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and speak English well. Front desk provided great recommendations for restaurants, helped book transport from Gare du Nord and to CDG airport. Hearty breakfast included, bar is open at night, spa available. Only negative is we had our credit cards compromised by their third party booking agency."

"This is a very small, intimate establishment. The room was large and the location was in the heart of Paris nightlife. The breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful. The room was air conditioned which was good because with the windows open at night, the active nightlife might keep you awake. The only thing to keep in mind; it is on the first floor with no elevator and the stairway was dark and narrow. As an elderly traveler I found this intimidating but not impossible."

The room was clean, and the air-conditioning worked very well, keeping the room comfortable during the July heatwave. With only five rooms on each floor, the hotel also felt intimate and quiet. "Beautiful little hotel in the best area of Paris close to so many sights! Best of all—it’s so quiet! And the bathroom is wonderful. It’s hard to find a decent sized bathroom in Europe and a shower which doesn’t compel one to crouch in a ball to bathe. The shower was perfect!"
