"The room advertised fireplace heating. On arrival it had a sign stating out of service! I had to sleep fully clothed under the covers in order to be warm enough. The next morning they gave me a couple more blankets and said a maintenance person would check on the fireplace. That person didn’t show. There was mold all over in the shower stall. The valves in the bath wouldn’t close all the way leaving it leaking all the time. The spout wasn’t even sealed to the shower wall and the tub was stained from the constant leak. The bathroom window panes were broke and taped together. Kitchenette area has Formica broken off. The laminate floors were falling apart. The table in the room has been carved in by people. You could see daylight shine in around the closed door. The ceiling was poorly patched from a previous leak. The nice oven view was hindered by the picture window they never bother to clean! Terrible! Don’t stay there!!!"

"Absolutely loved this hotel! The gentleman who checked us in was so nice and funny, which started of our stay with a good experience. The room was so nice, very clean and modern. Everything was just beautiful! We had to call twice for for help with the fireplace and tv, and someone showed up after I barely set down the phone! The balcony was a good size and we sat out there a lot. We will definitely stay there again!"

"The pictures show a hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. The only eggs were cold hard boiled, the only hot food was toast and waffles. There wasn’t even any yogurt. I only stayed here on account of the breakfast and I won’t be back. I can get the same garbage continental breakfast anywhere."

"My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed here for one night for a quick getaway. We stayed on the bottom floor, ocean view room. Pros: Check-in staff were great and friendly Lobby was clean and bright and modern Room was clean - looks to have been remodeled recently Beds were wonderful and comfortable. View is incredible! You can’t get closer to the beach without actually being on the beach! Fireplace in room was great. Cons: Walls are very thin - upstairs neighbors were very noisy, moving furniture, and since the floors are wood you hear everything. Poor ventilation - refrigerator was sweating leaving water on the floor. Bathroom stayed damp all night and day despite running the fan constantly. Had to hang towels outside the bathroom to dry. No rugs or mat inside - it’s the beach and it’s sandy. Even brushing our shoes/feet outside there was still sand everywhere. A rug inside the door would be very helpful. Or even a small broom in the room to sweep up sand. Pool is in a different building. A cold walk there and back! There were no towels so had to walk wet to the front desk to get towels. No kids in hot tub area (which could be a pro for some but my kids were very disappointed) and the pool was not very warm! We did enjoy our stay here mostly due to the view and easy beach access. I would consider staying here again if we got a top floor room as I think that would alleviate some of the issues we had with dampness and noise! Overall I would say 3.5-4 stars. "

"The front desk was friendly and accomidating. Room was clean with an awesome view of the water. I ciould see that attention to detail was used in ensuring the entire room freshly painted with nice , tasteful furniture. Overall great experience."
