"It could be a lovely hotel if the staff smiled and had a clue what was going on. There was a lovely and friendly lady on reception, and one of the waiter serving in the evening was friendly, as was one of the bar staff (Josh). Everyone else seemed a bit surprised to have guests, and the women working at the bar weee positively rude in their demeanour. It could definitely do with an injection of cash to update it. The issue is the bar and restaurant staff who are quite off hand and inefficient- multiple missed orders for many people, no greeting, surly attitude which is a real shame and as I sat working the female worker was openly rude to her colleague about other guests and other staff members - we walked in on our last evening and the female bartender did everything...
