But the were no rooms available in Interlaken, so I had to look further afield and happened upon a gem I would never have expected to find. Set on the mountain side with a view of Lake Thun and the Jungfrau mountains right there in front of your own private balcony. An amazing view. The room was compact but very clean. "The stay at the hotel was quite comfortable. The view from my balcony was amazing as well. Mountains and a waterfall! The balcony door was interesting, it was a door, tilt window as well as window. I thought that was cool. One suggestion that I may Give is to have a bug screen or net for the Door so the door can be left open without fear of bugs entering the room. We went during hot temperatures, but it was not that hot in the rooms. There is no air conditioning in rooms and no fans if you need...
