"After a long drive I was ready for a rest and cup of tea. The room was good and tea and coffee ready to prepare. The evening meal was superb, Saint Jacques cooked to perfection. La terrasse par contre, plus grande que la chambre....c'est paradoxal. "Ecolodge Beauregard wasn't what I was expecting. Don't take that as a negative it was a lovely location in the french countryside. The staff went above and beyond to help me get to the location, and make me feel at home. I would absolutely reccomend taking a car to get there, taxis are very expensive and Uber doesn't operate in this part of France. I stayed there ro visit castle Guedelon, an archeology project nearby i.e. figure out how to build a medieval castle by building one how it would...
