"This place is sketchy. We showed up on a Friday afternoon and there were a lot of workers hanging around in the parking lot drinking beer and smoking. We also noticed 2 cop cars and a patty wagon. Police were waking along the top floor balcony and patrolling the parking lot. My daughter wouldn't even get out of the car. We left, I immediately msgsed them and explained why we were no longer staying. They charged me full price for the night. I think they could have given an exception. Am I...

"Hotel is mid reno so the halls are in a bit of disarray. Rest was great! Excellent super helpful staff, really impressed with every single staff person. Beautiful trails connected to the property, by the water too. Easy bus access, free parking. Lots of coffee, which I always appreciate! Got to enjoy coffee on the veranda looking at boats in the basin. Thanks!"

"This was a very happy surprise. The rooms are spacious. Bedding is comfortable. There was a kitchen area and a small dining area and loads of storage space. Modernized bathroom. But the biggest surprise was that the property is on a lake. Governor's Lake. Walk around the property and you come to a beautiful lawn and grounds that are beautifully manicured and a heavenly view. The pool was chaos with kids barrling down the water slide right on top of other guests without waiting and following safety measures and the parents were doing nothing . We stayed in the Sunrise suite and were surprised at JUST how how open the door plan was - there was no partition whatsoever between bedroom and bathroom, and had a full view of toilet and shower from our bed. This would be a lovely room for a single person, but an awkward setup for two people, as there was no privacy for bathroom use.
