"This was an amazing location! So happy to be here especially for the price. We didn’t know we were getting a kitchen so that was a bonus. We thought we would get a small fridge and that’s it. We had a full fridge and full stove/oven. There was a separate bedroom plus a pull out sofa/bed. It was clean, for the most part. Some yucky dust on trim and I only noticed because I’m hyper vigilant. Most people wouldn’t notice. Plenty of shampoo and tp provided. But not enough towels. There were two of us...

"I stayed for three nights. I expected housekeeping. I called front desk after two nights. Front desk stated that housekeeping comes once every three nights unless requested by the guest at the time of checkin. Front desk didn't tell me at the time of check in. VERY STRANGE TO ME. I had to call multiple times to the front desk to empty trash cans and towels. Staff appears very unfriendly. I give 1 out of 5 stars as far as overall satisfaction."

"We almost didn't write a review because, selfishly, we wanted to keep this little gem a secret! The Beachside Motel is a fantastic place to stay, a classic throwback to a simpler time while still being exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is hard to beat, just a block from the beach, and the atmosphere around the property is wonderful. The attached ice cream stand is a great bonus and adds to the charm. "I love their hot tub."

"The AC unit sounded like screaming banshee that had a baseball card stuffed into its bike spokes. Couldn’t sleep. So then we had to turn it off and it was so hot, we couldn’t sleep. The washroom fan had the same issue metal on metal screeching The pendent light over the table was also dangling from the ceiling with no insulation and electrical tape holding a splice together. Total electrical hazard. No way to lock the door with a keyless lock from the inside. No chain. Or flip latch....
