I would call it a small boutique hotel with a restaurant, where we dined twice... each meal was delicious, especially the Raeburn burger. Both the hotel & dining staff was friendly & helpful. The room was beautiful, clean & QUIET! I can't emphasize enough how quiet the room was for the location in the city... really great. We opted out of housekeeping for a day, but they still left a little basket with water, snacks...

"This was an apartment-style hotel that was in a quieter area in the city but still within a 30-minute walking distance of all the places I had planned for my trip to Edinburgh (I love walkable cities, so this is not a disadvantage at all lol) + within a 5-minute walking distance to a convenient bus stop. All of the staff I encountered were friendly & accommodating, & I loved that there was a little café downstairs. It was clean & aesthetic, & I plan to stay at more Locke hotels in the UK +...
