Point A Edinburgh Haymarket

Point A Edinburgh Haymarket

8/10 Good
"We overall had a good experience. The location is great with lots of great restaurants and coffee shops around. It was an easy 25 mins walk to the city center. The staff were great and very helpful. The room had cool mood lighting and easy temperature control. The only issue was that the room was very tiny with fold out table and a rather uncomfortable chair. So I could not work or take calls from the room. Also the room had no window which I was aware of. I didn’t think it would bother me but it did turn out to feel stuffy. For this room with a single double bed, no window, no proper table or chair, no refrigerator, no kettle the price seemed steep at ~$350 a night but it could also just be a surge due to the Fringe festival."

10/10 Excellent
"Fine hotel and an excellent choice if you have an early flight from Edinburgh Airport and need an airport hotel. The only downside is that there is no airport shuttle. Granted, the airport is only a 10 minute walk away but it's not feasible to walk it if you have lots of heavy luggage (as we did). We had to take a three minute cab ride for 17 pounds. But other than that, the hotel was clean, cheerful and comfortable, and did exactly what we needed it to do."

"Location was excellent in Old town, walkable to most of edinburgh. Rooms were very clean, plenty of tea/coffee/biscuits supplied each day which I loved. Plenty of space for luggages and to spread belongings around. Couldn't really hear the main road despite being so close to it and with construction going on right outside the hotel.
