"The hotel was super as usual. The menu in the restaurant however was limited. I would have liked to see a cold option in this heat wave. I did have to phone down to reception at 01:30 due to a party going on in a room next door. It was however dealt with swiftly and this was outwith the hotels control. Room was clean, good selection of tea's in the room with nice biscuits and hot chocolate too. Staff were professional and helpful."

"Everything was clean. I loved my room. It’s not the most updated place in the world, but it had its own charm. It’s warm and inviting. The staff was great, and had good suggestions for tours. It’s kind of a pain not having anything nearby. No convenience stores or coffee shops. You have to take a train or Uber. I tried the connected restaurant twice and did not care for it. It’ll do though with nothing else around. Overall, it was a good value and I felt safe and comfortable"

When I asked why we didn’t get what we booked I was told cause I didn’t ask for one and that 2 people can share a bed!?! "Beds were very small and hard with a lot of wear to the headboards. Did not sleep well. Upgraded to balcony room, but nowhere to sit, so wad not useful. Food was great for dinner and just marginal for breakfast. Staff was very kind. Decent property, but definitely not luxury and not worth the price."
