The decor was nice and styled well. It was like a maze going to our room. The only window was a skylight in the ceiling that didn't open. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect!

The room had stuffed smells. The shower water temperature was fluctuating. The room was cold at night but the AC was for cooling only. The staff did offer an additional duvet. Night stand tables were extremely small. The room was next to stairs outside and was noisy even past midnight. The only thing that I really liked about the hotel was its location. Very convenient to tourist attractions.

Nice hotel and location for our plans but very expensive! I was surprised at the added 20% each night for a “visitor fee “ ….who else stays in hotels but visitors? Two weeks all over Europe and this was by far the most expensive of them all.

My only concern with this hotel was it was a pretty long hike from the front desk to our room and it required going up and down some steps to get there. Overall, it's a very nice hotel in a great location with an efficient and friendly staff.

Overall, the best part of our stay was the convenient location to the Royal Mile and Waverley train station. Getting to the room was confusing, as there were many doors, turns and hallways, but it was well labeled. The room was very clean but also very small. The bed, which was supposedly Queen-sized, was small for two people. The bathroom was clean and a decent size, but the shower drain did not work properly and it filled up quickly. It was mostly quiet, though on one of the two nights we stayed, we did hear people walking on the sidewalk/steps below.

Loved being “in the heart of it all”! Great location. Downfall was our hotel room was in a different “part” of the hotel where we had to cross over, go up a level and then cross again. It was a maze to find our room 😆 but loved the location!!

Byzantine nightmare, finding the room up, ramps across bridges down and up and down elevators, ramps, and stairways. No towel rack in the bathroom. Poor ventilation winds are hard to figure out no light in the entryway near the closet. Nowhere to hang anything. Only one chair for sitting in.

We only spent 2 nights in Edinburgh as our holiday came to an end. The hotel was convenient to public transportation and in a great location and offered a very nice breakfast. The lobby was nice and inviting, the staff was helpful and welcoming. The room was clean, small and simple no extra frills, which was fine for what we needed.

Hotel was very clean. Staff were welcoming on arrival and had no other interactions after check in. I booked a room with a view on Expedia and thankfully, that’s what we were given. I think the price was very high compared to my other BnB bookings on this trip. The hotel is in a very central location to the Royal Mile in Old Town. Very convenient location.
