"Really comfortable room in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. We loved our stay overall and thought the staff at reception and throughout the hotel were great. The only thing I’d say is that the minibar replenishment was intermittent. While it was supposed to be refilled every day, we found that wasn’t the case, and finding a solution wasn’t straightforward when flagged with reception."

"Wonderful stay at Eden Locke in New Town Edinburgh. The building was clean and quiet. Check in was later than our arrival time, but the staff were accommodating with storing our luggage before we could access our suite. The room was a small studio-type suite, perfect size for two people. If one wants to be self sufficient, this is perfect. Small kitchenette with laundry. Housekeeping was only once in our ten days there, so the space was truly our own."

"Absolutely loved this apartment! Smooth check in process and quick responses when I reached out to them. GREAT location- with so many places to eat just across the street. Only thing I will say is to make sure you give yourself enough time before checkout, to use the washer/dryer. We could not figure it out and unfortunately it wouldn’t unlock for a very long time and our clothes were still damp but we had to leave and had no choice. Other than that machine everything was great lol."

"Hostel should be hostile instead. Lots of rules that show they believe their guests are really infants. Staff is pleasant but indifferent. Lots of issues regarding UPS package pick up that links back to manager Eddie. Menu limited. Won’t miss it."
