A Lightning storm started on top of the hotel at 5:20AM. It set of smoke detector alarms. None of the emergency lighting appeared to be working. It took over an hour to get everything back to normal

Our experience at Hanoi was great! The bedroom was clean. We enjoyed the air-conditioning and the filtered water in the fridge. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We added the breakfast and it is a great buffet with great options! We loved our stay!

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the Catalan Med!
This is a very quaint hotel in a similarly quaint village. Its a little more like an AirBNB in that you are in rooms in a very old home, shared by a group of people, with common balconies outdoor and indoor sitting areas, and a common coffee machine. The reception and breakfast are about 100 yards away and shared between 3 hotels. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The village has great scenic spots, restaurants, supermercado, shopping, and a nice medieval feel with its stone streets and buildings on very vertical terrain. The nearby beaches are gorgeous, as are the restaurants outside the main village. You really need a car, but there is a free parking lot very close by the hotel and I found parking everywhere surprisingly easy, especially if you are willing to pay 3 euros. Don't miss the short trip away from the sea to Peratallada, an intriguing village!!

Excellent value for money
Great value for money. Their staff is really friendly and solved a minor issue with our room promptly. Location couldn't be better. We will certainly stay with them again. Breakfast at their neighbour hotel was good too. Overall nothing to complain about!

The hotel room was stunning and the hotel itself was quaint, cozy, smelled absolutely delightful, and felt authentic and rustic. The shower was gorgeous and I loved the bright windows, door to the terrace, and how quiet it was at night unless you heard the bells of the city. The staff were helpful, friendly, and so lovely. Very nicely situated as well. All around a perfect experience and just what we needed!

It was a 4th floor room with no elevators. We managed ok but taking the luggage up made it challenging. It had a nice patio on that floor with nice views. The building had charm and character.

Wonderful stay in Begur
We used this hotel as our base to discover Begur and the amazing surrounding area of the Costa Brava. We stayed in room on the top floor, where we are able to enjoy the amazing views. The room was spacious and decorated in a smart contemporary way. The rest of the hotel was very smart and the communual area (patio, breakfast room and lounge) was excellent. Breakfast was superb, including small details like freshly squeezed orange juice. We also liked the fact that refreshments were available throughout the day at no additional cost. We would definitely come back and highly recommend the Hanoi for anyone visiting this amazing part of Spain .

Hôtel bien situé mais mauvais rapport qualité prix
Bien localisé dans begur, mais pas de réception d’hôtel il faut aller dans un autre hôtel pas très loin pour faire l’entrée et la sortie. Belle bâtisse, avec de jolies chambres mais pas d’isolation, on entend les bruits dans le couloir, le lit est un peu dur. Hôtel beaucoup trop cher pour le service, et la qualité de la chambre.

La estancia en el Hotel Hanoi fue confortable y el trato agradable. Sin embargo la habitación tipo estándar resultó un poco pequeña ya que el baño esta a pie de cama y la bañera no es independiente del dormitorio. Hechamos en falta una neverita en la habitación así como un personal de recepción dentro del Hotel. Otro inconveniente fue que no hubiese ascensor para montar las maletas. El desayuno está bastante bien en cuanto a calidad y variedad. El personal que servía por la mañana fueron muy atentos y simpáticos.

En general muy bien en mi caso he encontrado la cama muy dura y la almohada muy delgada. La habitación muy bien decorada y el Desayuno muy correcto.

Muy lindo hostel, sin reception, hay que hacer check in en otro edificio a unos metros, no tiene ascensor y nos toco habitación en un cuarto piso bastante empinado para subir. El lugar es muy acogedor, hay un buen desayuno incluido, las empleadas son de lo mas amables. Nos toco una habitación con terraza con una vista hermosa.
