Every review is pretty spot on. I was first greeted by the amazing Andean and her friendly staff. Free parking and secured. Huge clean room with balcony facing the ocean. AC was working. I ate twice at Midtown (the stew chicken is so yummy!) and had a breakfast at Ochuna downstairs. Both very good. I walked the first night to the museum and I felt safe. Yes there’s only one chair but I was solo so it didn’t bother me. There was some noise in the park and next door but it was on Saturday but with the patio door closed, it was fine and the noise tapered down after 22:00. Water was not super hot but it’s typical. For the price, I would recommend this to anyone and I’ll be back again before leaving Belize.

The staff was very helpful, however, the room we were given was not clean. We had to be moved to a different room after my husband pointed out the dirty floor and water from a refrigerator that had just been replaced. The toilet did not flush. The staff Andean was a sweet heart and did everything she could to make us feel comfortable.

We were surprised that the whole hotel was on the 4th floor. It was adequate for a single night's stay but I wouldn't want to stay much longer. The staff, however, was wonderful.

Our room was nice and clean, the front desk staff were very nice and extremely helpful. The hotel is in walking distance of great food. We would definitely stay again.

Staff is excellent. Room needs some additional touches. It should have two chairs and only had one. Toilet paper dispenser needs to be on a stand as it is cramped next to toilet. Needs a safe and a dresser .

The room was clean and mostly comfortable, though it would have been great to have a chair. Ochuna was a great restaurant, even though they didn’t have the ability to process credit cards. The staff were wonderful! And the airport shuttle was really helpful. I wish we’d known so many things were closed on Sunday and Monday—it would have been more fun.

My stay at the Pickwick Hotel in Belize City was wonderful, how accommodating the staff were. Before I arrived I messaged through Expedia and they arranged for a car to be waiting at the airport for a small fee, which made arriving in a new country very easy and stress-free. The two ladies at the front desk were amazing—friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure I had a great experience. When one of my tours cancelled last minute, they quickly helped arrange something else so my day wouldn’t be wasted. Justin, who had picked me up from the airport, took me out based on what I wanted to see for a small fee, similar to any tour company. The next afternoon he took me through several local communities where I was able to eat local food and experience Belize beyond the typical tourist spots. Overall, check-in and check-out were easy, my room was clean, the A/C worked well, and my ocean-view room gave me beautiful sunrises every morning. The location was also convenient with restaurants, a supermarket, and the bus within walking distance.

The room was clean and the AC worked. The staff were very friendly. Only downsides were that the windows right adjacent to room access didn’t lock so not the most secure. There was also no ice machine for the ice buckets. Great location right next to a park on the ocean.

My second time to be there, love the location. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Mattress and pillows super comfortable. Super convenient to have a fridge in the room. Staff is very nice. Restaurant right downstair perfect for a nice supper or breakfast.

This was a disappointment. There was absolutely no signage to indicate that it was a hotel. The rooms are on 1 floor of a building that also houses a casino and club. The room we stayed in did face the sea but it had a concrete wall and you had to stand as no outside seating. Air conditioner was right beside you on the balcony and leaked. The room was spacious and had the longest shower I’ve ever seen! We were supposed to stay on our return back home as well but canceled and made other arrangements.

Andean, the lady at the front desk was wonderful - professional and friendly. Everything, our room and other areas were very clean. Lots bed the coffee and the big pot. However, the room could be improved with a night table beside each bed, a reading lamp on each of those tables, and two chairs at the table (there was only one).

All the above, when we arrived to the hotel, we where told that our room was not available and the staff was not coaporating or able to assist with any other solution and we where told to contact the third party to get reimbursed. It was not plesent at all. But at the end . We got the roon after mentioned we were Going to contact Expedia. .
