Beautiful hotel and great breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. In May, it is still a little cool so not able to really enjoy amenities such as the small beach area and kayaks.

Fantastically beautiful property and rooms. The private beach is a unique and very relaxing area. The breakfast is phenomenal and the staff is incredibly kind, helpful and sincere. A ten min walk into town center, with no problem. Bellano is much more relaxed and less touristy than Bellagio and Varenna, so you can really relax and just enjoy Italy’s finest. The staff at the hotel helped me call and make reservations at restaurants. You don’t have to have reservations in Bellano but it helps if you have a specific restaurant in mind. Bellano and the property is very safe but taxis are hard to come by. No Uber or Lyft around Lake Como. Order taxi ahead of time if you need it!

Great small hotel. Breakfast every morning overlooking the lake was wonderful. The primary staff who was there was Alice and she was helpful and friendly. A couple things to note is this is about a 15 minute walk into town and 20 minutes to the train. If you have a lot of luggage, consider a taxi, the staff will arrange a taxi, just do that ahead of time. Getting from town to town was easy via the ferry. Great spot to relax after a packed tour of other areas in Italy. The only negative thing I can think of is that our bed wasn't super comfortable and the pillows were small and flat.

Lovely small hotel, perfect location, service A1

Great hotel, renovated a few years ago so in great condition - clean rooms, great location, quiet. short walk to town and awesome restaurant options. Make sure to reserve parking upfront as only have a few spaces. Lobelt breakfast. Excellent service - they helped recommend tours, places to eat, etc. We followed all recommendations and things were perfect. Thank you.

Can't say enough good things about our stay at Villa Marina! From the customer service to the lovely property, we were so comfortable and happy spending a few days here. Angelo was so welcoming and warm during our check-in and helped us book a boat rental with a nearby service. Manuella's breakfast was a highlight of our whole trip and she kindly drove us to the train station on our last day. If we're lucky enough to find ourselves in Bellano again we'd definitely choose staying here.
