Stopping to take in the view on the Armidale-Kempsey Road. This one is of my parents who taught me from a young age thats its about the journey and not the destination. They took us on some amazing camping trips when we were kids. These experiences are what I most remember about my childhood. We are now passing that on to our kids and I know the travel bug will keep alive and well in our family. These two crackers are still getting all over Australia (kids free these days) although we did get on this epic road trip to the Bass Lodge with them a few years ago. Very ideal for either a weekend getaway or hosting a couple of families or even if you want ta weekend to get away with some mates for a boys weekend, very spacious and has an rustic feel to it, amazing bushwalks and rivers for fishing. Excellent all over

Great spot, and like others have mentioned, it has its very own waterfall that you can see from the cabin. The only thing missing was a BBQ outside.
