There's a pretty significant amount of Vagrants and Homeless folks. However, there is also plenty of security and police. Overall, felt safe. " It's a nice hotel, but it might appeal more to an older crowd. Feels a bit like a retirement home rather than a modern hotel. Staff is friendly, location offers a beautiful view, but we found ourselves a bit bored. Didn't try the spa, so can't comment on that. It's located on the waterfront but near train tracks, so expect occasional noise. Rooms are well insulated though. Restaurant food is great, but service can be chaotic due to understaffing. Best choice if visiting Western University....
