"The friendly hosts and the elaborate, tasty breakfast were the highlights of our stay here. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower set-up on the clawfoot tub reminded us of our first home and were fine, but a grab bar to help getting out would be helpful. The gardens were pleasant. The outside of the building was a bit tired and worn looking; I'm sure upkeep on such a large, historic building is tough."

"The staff was lovely but the room was very unclean. Stunk of cigarettes and there was burn holes in the bedding. Empty alcohol bottles and cans everywhere. We left immediately. The staff was lovely and looked defeated. My heart goes out to them but I couldn't stay there with my immune compromised husband and children "

"Wow what a fantastic hotel. Location is incredible. Lots of local events at the door. Hôtel is right on the water and restaurants are so close you can taste the variety of options. Highly recommend the on site restaurant and the the Lemon Grass restaurant for excellent choices. Breakfast was included and well appointed variety of options. Would highly recommend and repeat visit is is in view."
