A wonderful place to stay

This is a great place to stay. It is very close to the heart of Benaulim, being approximately 5 minutes walk to the centre of town in one direction and about a 10 minute walk to the beach in the other direction. The town offers a wide choice of places to eat and drink, bars and a variety of shops, money exchange etc. and also 2 travel agents. I used Majestic Travel and booked a train ticket to Hampi and a return overnight bus with Paulo Travels with them. It is a good idea to book early as the train tickets sell out really quickly. The beach is beautiful with plenty of places to eat dotted along the length. Mistral Holidays offers great accommodation, I had an apartment with lounge, spacious kitchen, a really smart bathroom and a bedroom with a great aircon. system. The staff are very kind and helpful, ordering tuk tuks and answering my general questions. One morning I needed a 06:30 tuk tuk and not only was it ordered for me, but Kathleen the receptionist got up to check that it was on time to take me to the train station, so kind. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
