Unfortunately, the hotel (hallways, lobby, elevators, third floor, and even the garage) had a nauseating smell.
The room itself was perfect; the issue was only in the common areas.
I understand that sometimes a drainage pipe can break at a time when it can’t be repaired immediately, for example. What bothered me, however, was that when I asked the front desk agent about the strong smell, he told me he didn’t notice anything. He even asked the security guard next to him, and he also said he didn’t smell anything.
The next day, when I checked out, I asked the same question to the morning front desk agent, and she explained that they had a problem with a waste pipe since the night before. She apologized and told me they were working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Same problem, same question, but completely different attitude toward the guest. That’s the reason for my rating.
