"WOW what a fabulous hotel! We had a lovely welcome at reception, our room was bigger than expected for a 'cosy' room. It was lovely and clean and although there was no aircon a substantial fan had been provided. The bed was very comfy. Bathroom was spacious, fluffy towels and toiletries which smelled gorgeous. "The public areas show off the heritage of this very old house to great effect. We loved the breakfast - both staff & food were outstanding. The extensive grounds contain the Golf courses, but even with magnificent trees and the lake, there is no escape from Golf.
