"Nice clean room with a very modern spa"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel in an excellent location. It’s within easy reach of many of Berlin’s major landmarks and offers extremely convenient access to public transit, which makes exploring the city very easy. One of the biggest advantages is that the train station to the airport is located right across the street from the hotel. Being able to pay only €3.50 instead of about €60 for a cab ride was fantastic. The train system is safe, clean, and runs regularly 24/7. The hotel itself was excellent. The food and lounge areas were top-notch and made the stay even more enjoyable. We would absolutely return to this wonderful hotel and look forward to visiting Berlin again."

"What a gigantic disappointment. This hotel seems to have been last renovated on the 1980s. It is shabby, dirty, run down and completely outdated. The room is ho-hum . The bedroom chairs were so worn that the arms actually had holes in the fabric, and rubbed in dirt all over the chairs, the bathroom was tiny and really cheaply made. The bed super uncomfortable. Th TV remote control was so cheap that we could not even read the letters on it. The tv dido not work for the 2 nights we were there. The phone charging contraption near the bed never worked. It had 2 charger cords each 5 inches long. Neither worked and the instructions for the silly device were written in microscopic letters , impossible to read and in german. The staff is hopeless and unhelpful. This entire place needs a major major renovation. It is like staying in a 1985 hotel on the 21st century . Frustrating and awful . "

"Good location but the rooms are ridiculously small & stuffy. You're not able to work in your room nor is there a decent lobby area to work from. No laundry service either. I couldn't be bothered to ask for an iron as there was no space, already climbing over my suitcase. The breakfast selection was quiet poor and exactly the same buffet selection over the 4 days I was there. Perhaps ideal for a drop and go. "

"Clean and basic bit has everything you need. Breakfast also basic. Hot sausages and scrambled eggs and cold choices of cereal, yogurt or hams and cheese. Room clean and neat like a hospital rather than hotel room but the location is perfect, walking distance to the centre and Potsdamer Platz, check point Charlie and Brandenburg Gate. Would use again as the price was good too. "

"Great location-15min walk from Potsdamer Platz (so getting the train from the airport it easy)&Stadtmitte UBahn is a 2min walk. Max. 30minute walk from all the main tourist sites,but most are much closer e.g. 15mins to Brandenburg Gate. Checkpoint Charlie is at one end of the street & Communications Museum at other. Friedrichstraße,with lots of shops& restaurants is 5mins away. The street is quiet so no outside noise. Rooms are nice. Mine was pretty big, with desk, safe and spaces to hang clothes.Bed was quite hard,even by German/Euro standards! 2 diff. types of pillow,so you can choose soft or hard.Bathroom has a good counterspace & hairdryer. Shower has good pressure & gets hot enough.The towels are proper bath-sized. I've seen comments about cleanliness on other reviews but I had no issues there. No fridges or drink-making facilities in the rooms though. There are water dispensers & tea/coffee on some floors,but the cups are so teeny tiny,I'd recommend using your own bottle or travel mug. I had the breakfast (got a good deal to include when booked.Think it is€20 to pay as you go,which seems a lot for any breakfast).Cooked options like scrambled eggs,bacon,sausages,vegetables,boiled eggs.As well as cold meats,cheeses,fruits,cereals, breads &pastries.Vegetarians have some options but I think vegans would struggle. Staff nice. I'd want a fridge and/or kettle in the room for a long stay but would def. recommend for a short break (I stayed 3 nights) for the location & peace. "
