"Our stay at Riviera Palm Springs started with a very frustrating check-in experience. We arrived at 3:30 PM, just before the 4:00 PM check-in, and were told our room would be ready in 40 minutes. We agreed to wait. After more than an hour with no update, I returned to the front desk and was simply asked if I received a text. When I said no, I was told the room was still not ready—no apology, no explanation, and no effort to assist.
I even offered to take any available room just to avoid waiting longer, but there was no urgency or proper accommodation. This is unacceptable, especially since we booked in advance. With an 11:00 AM check-out, there is ample time to prepare rooms.
When we were finally given a room, it had a very poor view that did not match expectations. I have video proof.
The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service was disappointing. I am requesting a partial refund or compensation for this experience."
