"Since the Schilthorn corp. bought this property it is being run as an afterthought. Front desk closed, no communication with guests before arrival as to how to gain access to room, they left an envelope with key card that didn’t work, had to wait for someone from sister hotel to walk over and fix. No breakfast here, had to walk to sister hotel for that and restaurant closed during our stay. Better to book elsewhere"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel from the moment we arrived until the 9th day we checked out. Our junior suite, adorned with red rose petals felt extra special for our anniversary. We especially loved the generous breakfast buffet and the option to order from the a la carte menu at no extra charge. "It is too far walking from train station. Bus not operating due to construction for a week. Even bus is operating, you still need to walk uphill about 500 m . We have to walk uphill for about 20 mins. I would suggest to stay in Grindelwald ( nice view ) or Interlaken area. They picked us up but their rate is not standardized, depends on the receptionist. First time pick up, they charged CHF 8. Going down to train station also the same CHF 8. When we call again, for pick up at train station, the...
