"Wonderful luxurious stay at this 5-star property near Bo Kaap in central Cape Town. Delicious food especially at the top SA restaurant, Urchin. There was a mix up at check in but it was corrected by staff by the time I had finished dinner. Like all areas of Cape Town CBD, it may be uncomfortably with some people asking for money. Unfortunately there’s a wide economic disparity between the haves and have-nots."

"We enjoyed our stay until check out time. We paid for bed and breakfast and requested for breakfast upon check out as we had an early morning flight. Filled in the form but there was no breakfast to take away. The receptionist was confused and took our details and promised communication. Until date no communication.They could atleast have communicated or refunded our breakfast. Apart from this the place is amazing and its very convenient."

"I was confused that this was a 4* hotel and over priced compared to a couple of 4* stays I had round the corner for a similar cost. The staff were aloof / borderline rude on entrance and felt in a rush. The AC was broken and extremely noisy - I daren’t ask if I could change room given the reception. The carpet and shower felt unclean. Bed was a decent size and the curtains were blackout. I didn’t try breakfast. "

"We had a lovely stay. The staff were brillant from the reception staff to the bar and restaurant. All very helpful. We made use of the bar and had dinner at the restaurant. The food was amazing! We had the lamb shank and a seafood pasta.Breakfast was very good with friendly staff. A good location and the swim in the pool was enjoyed with the perfect view of the mountains. The room was spacious,bed compfy,lovely view from the balcony and the bathroom was divine. I was happy that there was plenty of bottled water provided in the bedroom."
