It’s situated in a housing estate, we arrived late at night and there was car racing going on until the early hours of the morning. We felt quite uneasy in the room. You could hear everything and anyone that walked past, so the rooms are definitely not It soundproofed as it stated on the listing. The telephone was broken and on the floor there was a strange smell in the room and the floor was sticky. Wouldn’t stay here again.

I made a mistake when making the reservation for 3 days in this hotel that is not central and when I wanted to cancel they did not accept it, I was not able to cancel a single day and they charged me the full rate for every day, they are not flexible, from my point of view view they could have charged me one day for cancellation and the other two days they could have canceled since I did it 24 hours in advance

The clerc at the front desk was friendly and very forthcoming. She gaves us really good information on what to visit and how to go to city center. the room was perfect. The hotel was well located by the tram. Easy access to city center

Great service always starts a visit well
We were running late for arrival before the scheduled time for closing of reception. Amandine reached out to us to explain how we could still check in if we were late. Only real issues were the GPS finding the right way in with some streets limited to public transport and the rooms were a little warm.

A great hotel in a perfect location for visiting Besancon. Tram is very close by. We had a family room with cooking facilities and balcony. It was very spacious and a bargain at £50 for the night. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Very good value for money
I stayed several nights in Zentitude Hauts du Chazal and was very pleased with my stay : I liked the formula Room/Kitchenett which enabled me to take some of my meals either in my room or outside on my balcony, which was a plus as the weather was nice. The staff was very nice and helpfull and the room comfortable and clean.

Very noisy, tiny double bed
There was a noisy fan for ventilation that could not be switched off. No one was at the reception when we arrived, and we had to wait about 10 minutes until someone showed up. There was an alarm at the emergency exit that someone triggered, and it took some time until someone from the hotel shut it off. There is a big hospital right next to the hotel, and during the night, apparently rescue helicopters came in. The bed is really small for a double.

This was a quick stop for us, en route to the Alps. The city is worth spending some time in. The Hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly, however no AC so very warm experienced spoiled by the locals using the area as a party zone. At the end of the transport line located in the hospital/ University area , the team service is very clean and new. However they don't allow dogs on the tram.

Clean, quiet and modern surroundings with fully equipped kitchen. Good sized rooms. Next to tramline into town (15 mins and 1.40 euro per trip).

Very good experience, clean room with ensuite kitchen facilities (with hobs and a coffee maker). The only think I would add is a small table. Very nice staff, easy location if you are just passing the city by, parking space.

With free parking and the Tram to the old Town just a minute away, this is perfect if you are driving and spending all day I town.

The reception personnel were really nice and friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. New University/Hospital neighborhood with good access to public transport (tram).

Good hotel location an issue if trams not running
A nice new residence hotel. Comfortable and in reasonable surroundings although a bit far from the town centre - this might not be as bad when the trams are running. WiFi a bit slow.

A relatively new hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, not luxury, but perfect for an overnight stay along your journey, good location although the roadworks make it a little confusing, great location near a big shopping centre and very friendly service. would definitely recommend.

Cheap overnight in out-of-the-way location
This nurse's dorm was clean and comfortable and our stay was quite satisfactory once we found it. We weren't fully prepared for the extent of the construction in the area - our GPS took us within 100 m of the site but we couldn't pass the construction so we had to backtrack and go around. It appears that the construction will be going on until the end of 2013, perhaps longer. The site is about 5 km from the center of town.
