The place feels fresh, even the paint still smells new in all areas. The old reviews should not be a factor to book this inn. Inside was very clean, staff was extremely helpful, positive, with a constant smile on their face, ready to help in any moment. "They took the reservation, they did not keep the reservation. We showed up at 7 pm, after a long day, only to find they double sold our room. They also reported prioritizing direct reservations over those from third party sources like Expedia. While they did assist us in getting a room at a better property, they did not send over the correct paperwork. Took us almost two hours to get to a room.
