"Loved the location and size and layout of the room. Very functional and spacious. Loved that you could get to the large bathroom from bedroom or living area. Full kitchen, Nice fireplace and big balcony. However the place really needs updating. The furniture and carpeting is cheap and dated. That was mostly cosmetic but the real issue was the bed - it was awful. Very squeaky and old. And the balcony furniture was dirty with cobwebs and had a few spiders. And $5 for a water bottle?? Really? Tacky. The coffee packs provided were decent though. The indoor pool and hot tub were nice. Didn’t use outdoor amenities. So if walkable to everything and lots of space is priority then this is great. But if you want a good bed and modern feel skip this."

"This small cabin was perfect for us: well-located and nicely stocked. We enjoyed our morning coffee on our porch and took advantage of the location, walking to the Geneva Lake Museum and lunch at Magpie's Den and Pen barely one mile away. We also enjoyed a "Best of the Lake" boat tour one day, and a drive around the entire lake the next, where we located a nearly 300-year-old White Oak tree on the grounds of the Yerkes Observatory (which we learned about in the museum). We also ate at the famous Popeye's, now Nick's on the Lake (great food and portions!), and played mini-golf at Paradise Golf Park. Lovely town and lovely place to stay!"
