"The hotel was mostly used by construction workers. There was a goup sitting outside the entrance to rooms smoking pot and cigarettes. We turned the kids away only to see dirty underwear on the grass. The hotel worker followed us to the room to make sure we didn't have more people than we said. My husband assured him he was not staying. Same worker came back later to try and push into the room to see if my husband was still there. He wasn't which left me and my daughter feeling very vulnerable....

Our trip was primarily to hike the redwoods and surrounding area, so it was conveniently located to everything we did. Everything was clean, cozy and the staff were friendly. This was our first time here and all of the research I had done led us to book the right place the first time."
