El hotel está bien situado. Está muy bien cuidado y el personal es muy atento. El desayuno muy bueno. La única pega es que en el baño falta algún colgador para dejar la ropa mientras te duchas y luego colgar las toallas para que se sequen.

Mixed emotions

Our recent stay at Hotel Iraragorri was a bit of a mixed bag to be honest. The room was quite basic but large to be fair and had a modern bathroom and old antique furniture. The bed however was definitely on the small side so that's definitely something they could look to improve on. The hotel is very close to a railway station and bus stop which sounded great at first and while it was convenient to get into Bilbao there was a considerable amount of noise when the trains and buses arrived. My main disappointment was that the restaurant wasn't open for either lunch or dinner for the entirety of our trip and they only served food on weekends (apart from breakfast each morning). The graphic on their website is misleading as it states they serve food on a Thursday, that's not true so that should be corrected. With a little updating and opening the restaurant a little more frequently this could be an excellent hotel and I guess in some regard it was good value for money looking at the cost of hotels in Bilbao so this is not necessarily a bad option but not the best either.

Gorgeous wee hotel .however as it was hosting a wedding when we arrived there were no public areas and no restaurant available which was disappointing as it was our last night 😭and we hadn't been notified prior to arriving.

Sin insonorización ni aire acondicionado

No hay aire acondicionado en la habitación y aún no habían encendido la calefacción. Pasé frío. Además, no hay ninguna insonorización. Se oye todo. Mala experiencia. La cena bien, pero carísima. La habitación estrecha, con camas viejas, armarios ruidosos... Una cosa es decorar las habitaciones a lo rústico y otra cosa distinta es que sea viejo todo. Lo único bueno, el desayuno.

Cute hotel on the way from airport to wine country

We stopped at this hotel on our way to the Rioja winery tours, and it was perfect as we arrived on a late night flight and did not want to drive the full hour and a half at midnight. The hotel is quaint, and it can be a bit hard to find the entrance at night. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member and he was kind enough to lead us all the way to our room. The room itself has all the necessities for a comfortable stay, including toiletries. The kitchen where breakfast is served is super cute and it's a shame that we had to leave right away in the morning, because we didn't get to enjoy their breakfast.

Incantevole e comodissimo

Incantevole hotel con 8 camere alle porte di Bilbao.Comodissimo x raggiungere il centro con i mezzi (treno +metro in 20 minuti).camere ampie,pulitissima e di atmosfera rurale elegante.colazione strepitosa con prodotti casalinghi.unico difetto:si sentono molti i rumori dalle altre stanze,anche perché ha dei pavimenti in legno.comunque Bellissimo.

Amazing breakfast

We only stayed one night and arrived at night (11.30pm). It was a nice and comfortable stay but we couldn't speak Spanish so it was difficult to communicate with the owners. The breakfast was the highlight and service was amazing - we felt like kings!

Maravillosa la casa que tiene 500 años, su decoración y el ambiente. La atención muy especial, Juanjo, Josabá y Emerson de verdad te hacen sentir como en casa y la comida es deliciosaaaa. El restaurante vale la pena visitarlo así no estés alojado allí. Una buena cava. Todo bello y bueno.

Basque hospitality

One night stay prior to going home. 15 minute train ride out of Bilbao city centre, one minute walk to the hotel from the station. Simple but fabulous room in very traditional Basque house. Terrace outside to relax in. Food was amazing, staff gave more than 100%. Personal attention. Modern shops a little walk away. We will be going back. A great place to unwind or hop into Bilbao to sample a more hectic night. Or stay on train and eventually hit San Sebastián. Did I mention the food was amazing? Or that the staff were amazing too?
