It’s a great location and the staff were AMAZING!! I had a couple problems (not related to my stay and the front desk were so kind and knowledgeable. The rooms are basic, clean and comfortable. They have a great breakfast on the 6th floor with an early-bird discount. The neighborhood is amazing: restaurants, bars shops. The Cathedral only a couple blocks away- transportation is a breeze! Such a walkable city and public transportation is excellent!!

The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. The staff were very kind and recommended us places to see around the city. The hotel is ideally located so you can walk to the old town or down along the river to the Guggenheim.

Great stay in grand old building.

Hotel location in Old Town was excellently situated right next to the river and all the hot spots. The room and bathroom was very spacious. Beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. The room was very quiet thanks to the enclosed balcony that kept all the street noise out of the room. There was a good sized desk and closet storage as well as outlets and USB bed-side. The bathroom also had a full door opening up to the outside, though no balcony, which was very nice. Being situated in an old building (once a palace, aka very rich house) there is a cool winding brick stairway, but also spacious (for Spain) elevators. Only complaint was the very squeaky floors in the bedroom, but it's almost to be expected in an older building.

Estimados, Al llegar a la habitación asignada, me encontré con que la ducha no funcionaba. Notifiqué de inmediato a recepción y solicité una solución, pero la respuesta fue que la reparación se realizaría hasta el día siguiente. Esto resulta inaceptable, ya que al hospedarme en un hotel se espera contar con los servicios básicos de descanso y limpieza. Posteriormente, me trasladaron a una habitación más amplia, sin embargo, está ubicada justo debajo del área del buffet de desayuno, lo que genera un nivel de ruido que imposibilita descansar adecuadamente en las mañanas. Agradeceré tomen nota de esta situación y me brinden una solución satisfactoria, ya que estas condiciones afectan directamente mi experiencia como huésped.

Our experience here by far is the best during this trip. Can't say enough good things about this place. We will definitely miss it. Wish we could change plans and just extend our stay. Perfekt läge! Hade ett superiorrum ned utsikt mot närmaste torg. Rent och fräscht rum och badrum. Jättesköna sängar! OBS! Extremt lyhört! Varenda steg från boende inrummet ovanför lät otroligt mycket. Stämmer inte att hotellet har parkering, (var noggrann att dubbelkolla när du använder Expedias filter för att få hotell som har parkering) utan vi blev hänvisade till parkeringen från helvetet, Arenal, som ligger 300 meter från hotellet. €20 per natt och hotellet rabattkupong på 10% funkade inte. Inget internet på TV: det gick inte att hitta casta från mobilen. Frukosten är inget att rekommendera.

Great location! Overall the hotel was fine, but I did get stuck on a few minor details. The room didn’t have an iron or enough “closet” space for two people on a three night stay. The shower door was difficult to secure as water seeped out during showers and we had to use the mat more for puddle control. They staff was friendly and accommodating. And we also got a discount for parking in a nearby structure so that was also appreciated.
