Room was very spacious with a two bed and sofa bed. The only thing was that the countertops were not wiped down the remote was dirty and not wiped down you could see the dust. Other than that staff was amazing and it was definitely quite and very welcoming.

Breakfast is very good, with many choices, although they only offer one type of breakfast meet each day. But it’s worth it!! Ms. Lyndia was a very kind staff member who made sure rooms were clean and fresh towels and toilet paper were available.

Nice hotel overall. Comfortable beds and pillows. Clean room. Breakfast had several options available. Parking is an additional daily charge in a parking garage next to the hotel. My only complaint was the elevator issues. Only one was working and the hotel was full so this made getting up to our rooms difficult (we were on the 6th -top floor). We heard from staff the elevator issue had been an ongoing problem for several months and at times both elevators were down. Glad that was not the case during our stay.

The staff was very nice. Wasn't crazy about the room's floor plan. The placement of the desk doesn't make sense. I know it is to divide the room but the pole at the end of the desk cuts off the view of the TV and the placement of the couch is also odd. Other than the floor plan, my stay was good.

Breakfast menu had a great selection but the food that should have been hot to taste was cold....my hot water in the shower took 10 minutes to get hot and the mattress in my room was horrible. It felt like a mattress cushion instead of an actual mattress. Staff was very polite and friendly.

Overall. I would stay at this hotel again. It's for a lot of other businesses around it. It's in the middle of everything. The staff was super friendly and that meant a lot to me. It could've use a little updating on the decor and the elevators were quite trusting. They look really old and at one point only 1 was working. But overall I'd still stay again if that was all. But, it wasn't. My main reason for such a negative review and I don't do negative reviews. I'd rather just do no review at all, was the room. I normally go around and wipe down my room prior to unpacking. I literally had to clean the room. I know,I should've asked about another room but it was a busy weekend with the New Edition concert and Monster Trucks and other things, I'm sure the hotel was completely booked up. The ice bucket had water in there with a new liner draped on it. The dresser drawer handle was broken so I had to fix it. The handle in the shower was loose and shaking, the roller chair was unsafe to sit in and the floors weren't swept well. We did our best with what was given to us but that needed to be expressed when you're paying that much money and the room was in that shape. The room was the only real issue with my trip but that's where heads are laid at so it was really important. I hope this review goes across the right desk because I love this hotel chain and this hotel itself and no one should have to experience this.

Property close to UAB hospital, Publix grocery out back door 3 min walk, local shopping about 10-15 min drive. clean room staff great parking garage is next to hotel remember to get your ticket validated each time in/out or you will pay.

Disheartening experience. I rarely leave reviews, good or bad. If I take the time to write one, it means the experience was either exceptional or extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, this stay fell into the latter category. Upon arrival at SpringHill Suites in Birmingham, Alabama, we immediately noticed cleanliness issues. There was a used panty liner in the trash can in our room, which was very unsettling. The welcome screen on the television was still displaying another guest’s name, which made it seem as though the room had not been properly reset for new guests. Throughout the stay, hot water was inconsistent and often scarce. The towels also had an unpleasant odor, similar to corn chips, which further contributed to concerns about overall cleanliness. Because of these issues, I did not feel comfortable or confident about the sanitation of the room and even had reservations about sleeping in the bed. Overall stay: 2 out of 10. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

The walk in shower is configured weird. Maybe it was once a tub shower and they tried to convert it. You have to walk into the shower to turn the faucet on so guess what...you get hit with cold water. That was the only negative I had about the place.

Room was not as clean as expected. The bathroom shower corners were dirty with hair and the bathroom sink didn’t drain well at all. One of the elevators was not working and the staff said it had been broken for awhile. Great location for what we needed but not sure I would stay there again due to these issues. Front desk staff were pleasant.

Staff in the morning Thursday and Saturday were rude. We asked to speak to a manager after finding our room dirty at check in with no other room option available, asked everyday and night and were told messages left for her to call but she never called had to change rooms second night and finally stopped after 3 rooms just trying to get one with hot water.
