"The hotel was in a great location. We were able to walk to a lot of the places we wanted to see and the activities we planned. The breakfast was delicious. There was always a wide variety of options. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Amerikalinjen for your stay in Oslo."

Small rooms, tiny restrooms and sink, no ac control (to turn it off) difficult to get to the room specially with luggage (stairs, long corridors, lots of turns) The only really good was breakfast and location. Definitely not luxe as the page implied. Staff ok but not friendly and with no service attitude. It is close to transportation. It’s about a half hour walk into town. The grocery store kiwi was a great store and had everything I needed. And very helpful being right beside it."
