"The Hotel is conveniently close to the station but only a short walk to the centre. Whilst near a road and the train tracks the room was reasonably well sound proofed when the windows were closed and they didn't disturb me. That might be an issue in hot weather as it doesn't have air conditioning. The breakfast was fine with a reasonable selection. Overall the hotel was good value considering the budget cost. The room whilst relatively basic was comfortable and including a fridge was a very nice...

"The hotel is in a lovely position, by the Vondelpark and in the museum quarter. The shower and bed were good, but otherwise the hotel, which had just been taken over by new owners, was in a very battered state. Hopefully, this will change with the much-needed refurbishment. Breakfast is not provided and the cafes around don't open until 9am."
