"Luey and Norris (aka the Cowboy Innkeeper) are so sweet and charming. We felt right at home. Having Luey making breakfast while talking and laughing was so heartwarming and the food was incredible. The room we had was wonderful and unbelievably clean. We will be back for sure! "

"DO NOT STAY HERE!! This hotel is the example of why you should never book a nonrefundable room. I am in Austin to work overnights. I booked through Expedia and then called at around 0645 . I asked if there was an early checkin fee the lady was short but said yes it it $10. I asked how early could i check in. Her response was "You can check in now if you want to". "Their rollaway bed was completely soiled and unsanitary, unable to use. Their 3rd floor door was broken and remained propped open , posing a security risk for all guests especially if you have kids, ice machines non functional, the halls and rooms smelled. Their was dust and what looked like mold in our AC unit, our tv wasnt working . "

"I checked in and went to my room, only to find blood on the sheets. I was able to switch to another room, but unfortunately the overall cleanliness was still an issue. There was mold in the shower, and the room only had a sheet—no proper blankets. I wasn’t expecting luxury since this is a budget motel, but I did expect basic cleanliness and comfort. "Room was very clean. Minor maintenance issues, cabinet door broken, tv never worked. Adjoining room and door thin so could her every noise from room next door which isn't great for light sleeper. The hotel staff was friendly at all times. Lobby and hotel grounds very clean. My experience with breakfast wasn't great but may be an isolated issue. Stale waffles and pastries.
