We were a group of soul music fans on a get together to take in the northern soul weekend at the tower ballroom. We have stayed at the " fairway" a few times before, it is clean, tidy, easy accessable and you always feel welcome, we will be booking again next year. Those needing a "secure car park" we use the park on Charnley road, £15 for 72 hours (November 2021)
What stay ....?? Had all my conformation at my end and on my phone, Gets to hotel to check in and there is no email etc qt the hotel to confirm our stay, Blackpool was totally sold out every where ... so we were left to try place after place after place , For over 3 hrs....
just had a 3 night stay at this hotel excellent location, room was a little dated but very clean, Nice friendly staff and all for a good price will definitely be back thank you 😀
First of the good points . Clean . Local.nice size room .
Down side was informed that wouldn't be anyone on site to let us in till 5pm . Not a big deal but still not good . Then when manager did turn up no apology and was told as inefficient guest numbers no breakfast would be available . No discount given.
Bar not open at 6 pm .
Overall bit of a let down and the not caring attitude was not on really .
Was told actual managers not there till weekend .
Advise others to check in advance if breakfast will be available .
Better service available else where unless staying at weekend I was told .
Alright if just sleeping there though.
Stayed here 3 nights in a deluxe double room, lovely clean spacious room few extras hairdryer, iron and board, electric heater didn’t need to use due to radiator in room which you could control easily. En suite a good size too.
We had breakfast which was very good, choice of cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, toast, jams, full English very filling.
Great location and the owners are very nice too.
Will definitely be staying again.

You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for ...rooms a tad good location for my needssmall us .electric shower needs clear instructions on how to use them . Central heating not working
A good clean hotel, well placed for Central B'pool
I chose the Fairway Hotel for several reasons applicable to the needs of my family members. It was close to the National Coach Station which meant not having to struggle with luggage over any distance ( an important factor when one person has Arthritis ). Similarly, the grandchildren did not need to walk far either. The hotel itself was not on the sea front, but a few short streets away from it - which meant less chance of late evening noise from passing revellers. The beach was within easy walking distance even for toddlers The Coral Island entertainment centre was literally a stones throw from the Fairway, which for children on holiday was a fantastic attraction. As was Blackpool's famous tower, and Central Shopping area. These were my prime considerations, coupled with visitor reviews. I wanted a value for money clean Hotel manned by real people, not actors. Upon reading reviews for several hotels in the vicinity The Fairway became my choice. My family were not disappointed with this choice. They were particularly impressed with the daily hygiene and standards of housekeeping. My family had no meals in the hotel due to us not wanting meal times to influence the agenda of our stay, but other guests commented to us positively about their meals.
My family did not have much interaction with the hotel staff, but found them to be polite, helpful and informative of what was going on locally which maybe of interest to holiday makers such as ourselves.
A nice chilled experience information was offered when asked and they were very helpfull. Breakfast was good and well worth it
Would definately stay there again.

Convenient friendly bed and breakfast
A nice no frills b an b with a very friendly and accomodating owner. Great breakfast for a fiver. Room appeared clean though curtains when untied from tie backs did smell dusty and musty. Wooden venetian blinds also looked dusty.
My only other gripe would be that I don't feel the 'deluxe ' room is justified Extremely difficult to manoeuvre around twin beds. TV tiny. Towels were very thin and threadbare . Chest of drawers very old and tatty. No plug socket anywhere near the mirror to use hairdryer etc. I feel the term 'deluxe' is a bit over rated.
Fantastic all round , made to feel very welcome and will be returning next year

wasn't a big fan of the cooked breakfast, tasted like it had been cooked for hours and warmed up. Otherwise very friendly staff and in a good position.
