"The roadways to enter the hotel from the front and the back were run down. Once you get into the parking lot, though, it's fine. The hotel was well updated and we were greeted by a very nice front desk employee, as well as freshly popped popcorn with lots of flavor powders! "I had a lovely stay. My room was small, but exactly what I expected. The price was just right! The bed was very comfortable, the shower was hot, everything was very clean. Loved having the blackout shades. Everything was easy to operate from the iPad on the nightstand. The lobby was cool and they had a water bottle filler which I appreciated. Staff was super friendly. "Our stay was quiet, comfortable, and easy. The proximity to the parking garage was a huge perk. We felt safe the whole time. The rooftop bar offered some really good food after a day in the city. My family and I ordered appetizers and highly recommend the truffle potatoes, crab dip, sweet chili shrimp, and chicken skewers. We would definitely consider this hotel if we ever come back. I will say that it is a much farther walk to the Capital than I thought but it was a safe and easy walk."
