"The hotel is located in close proximity to Washington DC if driving. The hotel needs updates, looks old and dirty. The bed was very comfortable. Our room was on the first floor next to the laundry room. Lots of noise in the morning. Workers were talking and moving stuff. Also, we arrived one night after 11:00 and both gates to enter to the parking were closed. It was very inconvenient. Staff was very dry no friendly. "

"Room was okay but did have dirt in it. Bathroom smelled like poop. Breakfast we didn’t like. Parking was sketchy people smoking weed in the garage never felt safe esp with my kids. Area just had a bunch of crackheads walking around. Staff when we checked in was on her phone didn’t greet us and continued to talk on her phone while checking us in. Not welcoming at all never smiled. She really shouldn’t work in the front. "

"This is the 2nd time I've stayed at CitizenM DC Noma due to its location that is near Congress/Union Station, and because it's a nice hotel. I've traveled solo both times I've stayed here and the size of the rooms are fitting for one person due to how compact they are but big enough to have a comfortable stay and with the amenities it has.The area around the hotel is safe and not far from restaurants and shopping."
