"Room spotless, bottle of cold water and fresh milk in fridge a bonus. Staff all friendly and helpful even carried out bags up the steep stairs. Although over a pub no problem with noise. Able to park car in their car park and leave it for the whole of our stay. Did not have breakfast as visiting family very close by so went there each morning. Very convenient for bus into town"

"Spotlessly clean, fabulous hosts and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Reading past reviews I was shocked at mentions of the floors being cold. It's an 18th century cellar for goodness sake!!! Stone floors are part of the charm. It is cosy and warm at this time of year (and I imagine lovely and cool in the summer).I would definitely stay again for its location, its cleanliness and its hosts. Can't fault it except for the mattress, which is a bit "argos" and could do with a good...

"Such a beautiful apartment with everything you need for your stay. Very clean and welcoming, in a quiet area. The apartment is light, bright and airy. The communication is spot on and even though the apartments dont have a reception area, it only takes a phone call to address your questions. I highly recommended and will definitely be coming back. "Lovely spacious room. Friendly and efficient staff. City centre location. Bathroom had both a rainfall and a hand-held shower head. The only minor gripes were 1 - no fridge in the room 2 - the random selection of TV channels, which was a bit hit & miss."

"Really lovely apartment and in a convenient location for getting to where we need to be. Although there are instructions about parking, it's pay & display and you can only stay in one place for 3 hours at a time, so it's worth looking up somewhere separate to leave your car (we had done this in advance so wasn't a problem for us). "Kind and hepful staff made such a difference. My room was small but had everything I needed and was spotlessly clean. This is a great place from which to explore Bristol as the bus stops right opposite the hotel. Clifton Village is a short walk away across Victoria Square and has some great shops, restaurants and cafes etc plus it's just a short walk to the Clifton Suspension Bridge. "
