Isla Baru is an amazing area - and the thoughtful & friendly staff here made us feel at home. It's a special place. Would highly recommend the excursions on offer to Mangroves (which is really a tour of the local area of the island in general ie more than just mangroves & rosario. On Saturdays the bar/club on the other side of the bay attracts party boats, which are loud. So when we revisit we will probably avoid saturdays. mon-sundays is idylllic. We had a wonderful time. Thanks !

We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it. We were mostly impressed with the staff, especially Daniel, during our stay. He was incredibly attentative. I think it is worth staying overnight here rather than a day trip, as when the day trippers leave it is very tranquil. If you do not like birds, we would not recommend, but I found the frigate birds incredible to see up close!
