The owner was lovely, as were rest of the staff. We had a warm welcome and a tour of our room prior to check-in. The Superior room was incredible. Really nicely furnished, clean, plenty of complimentary amenities. We had an amazing meal in the evening - one of the nicest we've had in Slovenia, followed by an equally enjoyable breakfast. We stayed 4 nights at the Triglav Bled. We had a suite overlooking the lake; it is a most beautiful view. The hotel is a little way up the hillside so the walk up from the lake is quite steep. It is a very pleasant walk of about a mile round the lake to Bled. All of the staff at the hotel were excellent and made us most welcome. Bled is overwhelmingly busy during the high season and it was delightful to retreat back Lukanc in the countryside to avoid the hordes people. We had amazing views of the mountains from our balcony. Great location 5 mins from Lakeside. Our room didn't have a view of the lake but each floor had a comfortable seating area at a full size window with a wonderful view. We didn't use this, we just got out there. We’re doing a tour of Slovenia and this was our favourite accommodation the staff were so helpful, the accommodation was immaculate we chose to have the breakfast and it was the best we’ve had so far ! We were cycling and the hosts happily stored our bikes and gave us directions of where to go and swim in the river which we did and enjoyed immensely would love to stay again when we’re in the area 5 stars are not enough
