"Our stay was enchanting. We were generously upgraded to a River View room. Though small, the room was very clean, comfortable, relaxing and attractive. The views of the river, the beach and forested hills were breathtaking. Breakfast in the morning was upgraded continental and enjoyable. Staff was exceptional. The two nights at this beautiful lodge was pure joy!"

"Pool and hot tub are huge and wonderful. Beautiful views from the room. Breakfast is at a restaurant across the street and you get a continental breakfast which is very small, but you can order food and get a 25% discount which is what most people did. The only negative was there are no microwaves in the rooms and there is only 1 available for the whole place in the laundry room of all places. That was very odd and inconvenient. Otherwise a great stay."

"The property is gorgeous, clean, well kept and the staff is fantastic. My only complaint is the noise. I was trying to take an afternoon nap but they were trying to fix a door and it was like they were drilling / messing with the door in my ear. You can hear every step and every word in this hotel. Also the hot water took a good 5 minutes or more, it was shocking how long it actually took. I thought that was a waste of water. Would live to stay here again."

"The room did not have a clean welcoming vibe. The room needs a complete renovation.its old snd lacked amenities that are normal in a room. No shampoo, no body wash, no iron or ironing board. The tv did not work , noisy ice machine, top floor I was I. Bottom Room 101, could hear every step taken in room. Telephone not working. The sink had. An old fashioned rubber stopper , you could see all the way down the sinkhole drain. The electric plug was broken in half… one queen size bed was broken, it...

"Staff very nice - gave us a late checkout because we also had massages There was a loud machine noice humming in middle of night and I’m not sure what the sound was coming from- an A/C or heater or ?? Anyhow, that kept me from sleeping but it might have been a one time thing "
