"Not sure why Salthus is only rated 2 stars but in my opinion is better than 3 stars. Clean, warm comfortable bed and room(twin) with plenty of space. Large accessible shower & toilet room. Parking at door. Fully equipped kitchen although only I only made toast. Wonderful views of sea and mountains. Great walk nearby around sea cliffs. I did not meet any staff as self check in. Only a 15 minute drive from Bluondos. Thoroughly recommended."

"The reception is at second floor if shared bathroom rooms, with reception sign on the building. The staff is very nice, provided me extra service "

"karuna Guesthouse was one of our favorite properties. We were greeted by the owner and shown to our room. They room was SPOTLESS and large with a tea kettle, tv, full bathroom and hairdryer!! They have thought of everything! There is a free breakfast included, and also use of a kitchen. A superbly clean and wonderful place to stay!!"

"Getting to the guesthouse was a bumpy ride, be careful midway as there is a big difference in elevation, our suv most definitely hit the ground pretty hard. Other than this instance, the host was sweet and greeted me and gave me a tour for the guesthouse. The room was quaint and the facilities were clean. There is a hot tub in the back but i wasn’t able to check it out, though it wouldve been nice if I wasnt so tired. Would recommend! :)"

"Nice new facility in the lodge. Check in confusing as Hotels.com said no Check in staff, contact facility directly but gave no phone number. I emailed facility and no response. Phone call to Hotels.com the day before no help either. Had to call facility once there and staff came over but if we didn't have someone with cell service, could've been a problem. "

"Loved the farm surrounding property. Owners are friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable and living room area is cozy. The amenities are nice but need updating. Doorways are short for tall people/over 6 ft. "

"Brimslod Atelier Guesthouse was lovely. Our room was on the second floor, with a great view over the water. It was the only spacious room we had during our 10 days in iceland, and it was very comfortable. We had dinner in the onsite restaurant, and it was delicious. We were the only guests for dinner that night, so we had a chance to talk with the owner and ask questions about the area. We wanted breakfast a bit earlier than they typically serve, and the hotel was very accommodating. I would...
