"I had a perfect stay with my girlfriend for a long weekend. Eric and Susie were amazing hosts, serving delicious breakfast each day. The hot tub was luxurious and the area was beautiful. I’d 100% come back."

"There was a rusted-through hole in the sink that dumped water all over the floor. There were weird black stains on the mirror. When I arrived in my room, the phone was flashing red so I called the front desk to ask why. "Just ignore it," they said. Ignore a red flashing light next to my head while I try to sleep?? I wound up unplugging the phone. I could go on, but bottom line is this hotel is too much of a wreck."

"Room was absolutely filthy. Visible dirt, hairs, brown staining all over toilet, filthy mattress, food all over floor."

"There was no running water for a period of time on our second day. I responded to “Erika” via text and communicated the no water situation. There was no offer of water bottles or water buckets to flush toilet. The text message back said to wait until repair was done. Renovated 3rd floor had splattering of paint on bathroom tile floor. The do not disturb sign falls off the door handle. Cabinet door for fridge unit rattled when walking by… annoying."

"The room had a distinct sewage/mildew smell. Extremely prevalent in the bathroom. I contacted the front desk immediately, and was told " it's very common there, and I should open the window, and run the shower simultaneously, and that should help with the smell a bit". The front desk also brought down a bottle of disinfectant to " help with the smell". I also was never informed before or after booking that the pool was unavailable! The hotel claimed it was on their website, but I booked...

"The front desk staff were awesome especially Dottie and Dena. They made the trip more enjoyable. Breakfast was great daily. The only issue I had was the hot water needs to be checked; the shower didnt stay hot and the water in the sink didnt stay hot. Other than that, it was a great experience."

"The bed was awful sunken in on the sides and middle. The sheets were dirty and the floor and chair was stained. I accidentally took off my socks and walked on that floor the developed an itch on my foot. I was afraid something would crawl on me and bite me so I slept with the lights on."

"The sheets were dirty. We found several long black strands of hair in the bed along with what looked like blood and rust stains... I would suggest bringing your own bedding or staying elsewhere. We asked for new bedding which we got, but those weren't much better."

"Walked into room saw a centipede the size of a baseball walking around, bunch of smears and weird marks on the headboards of the bed, had to fiddle around with the A/C for 10 minutes to get it to work."

"Highly recommend this for a beautiful family experience if you have kids! We enjoyed a 1-night, 2-day stay, and we absolutely loved everything inside the hotel and had an amazing time at the LegoLand park itself. However, there were a few downsides for the price. The room's cleanliness wasn't up to par it just lacked that fresh, crisp, clean feeling and smell when you walk in, and the bathroom was the same.
