"Really unique hotel in a great area"

"Beautiful, large room wtih tasteful, thoughtfully-selected furniture and amenities. Location was excellent for visiting the historic landmarks. Media system in room was problematic and did not work over the 5-night visit. Efforts to fix it were unsuccessful."

"A wonderful experience. The historic house is elegant, warm, and very well maintained. Our room was spacious and carefully outfitted with a mixture of stately antiques and later pieces. The breakfast was truly a surprise with an extensive variety of food and drink. We certainly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again. It could not have been better."

"The room was good and supple clean, unlike the common and restaurant area which was always untidy and dirty, and it was because it had many people the staff just didn’t seem bothered. It was a bit of disappointment because we were really looking forward to our stay. The staff at reception was very friendly and professional, which is always good."

"The Kimpton Hotel Monaco is an excellent choice while visiting Philladelphia. The hotel was right next to the Independence mall with lots of great historic places to visit. My room had a view of Independence Hall and I loved it. Red Owl Tavern serves a great breakfast and you can enter right from the hotel. Lots of good walking tours in the area. Highly recommend."

"Good location for walking from the hotel to restaurants and sights, you have to pay for valet parking, which is $60. Room was clean, comfortable, and well decorated, service was friendly and professional."

"Primo requisito di un albergo? Un letto per dormire...nella.stanza in questione (921) impossibile prendere sonno, sembrava di dormire in mezzo alla strada. Neanche i tappi per le orecchie erano funzionali. Purtroppo i bambini riposavano e noi adulti non potevamo neanche richiedere il cambio stanza. Ovviamente la mattina i manager nessun dispiacere alla consapevolezza del disagio tanto era tutto pagato da un vaucher Expedia del sottoscritto. Ovviamente tutto documentato con video e mail alla...

"The portal they send you is extensive questioning, It was a lot but I liked that they were careful who they rented to. The spiral staircase is WAY Too easy the bang you head shoulder etc into and should have plastic order covering the metal edges and screws/bolt etc We had a bloody head injuring as a result. Proximity of the dining table made getting around it and the staircase very tight. Issues with the electronic lock several times which left us stranded in the hall twice. It says it’s a...

"The room was okay. The facility seemed rather old and heater area was dusty. Coffee that we had to pay on the first floor was awful. Parking is detached from the hotel, which is not convenient and not free. Staff didn’t explain well."

"The hotel was very inviting with a bar and lounge area on either side, nice view from my room, felt very safe, room was clean and staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely return soon."

"The room was tiny. The water pressure was low. The toilet holder was ripped out the wall . I reported this the first day(we stayed 4 nights) and when we left it was still dangling from the wall. The front desk staff didn’t want to be bothered and the valet staff didn’t speak English. I expected a lot more from a Kimpton."
