"Really unique hotel in a great area"

"We had a wonderful time at Penn’s View! There were three of us in a room with two queen beds & it felt surprisingly spacious. It’d be nice to get a room with a view the next time we’re here, but there was a sweet view from a window near the elevator that we took advantage of every time we walked by. The staff was very helpful & the property nice & clean. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, but the bar was lovely - both the bartenders & our drinks made it very worthwhile! "Beautiful, large room wtih tasteful, thoughtfully-selected furniture and amenities. Location was excellent for visiting the historic landmarks. Media system in room was problematic and did not work over the 5-night visit. Efforts to fix it were unsuccessful."

"Good central location with excellent transport links. Close to lots of restaurants and bars and the main tourist attractions. The hotel staff were all very friendly. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and great shower. We were at the back of the hotel which was very quiet."

"If you are planning on modern, then this is not the place for you. However I think it was worth the price I paid. Include their daily parking fee in with your reservation. There is literally no place to park. I think the cars in the free spots are glued in place because they have not moved since my arrival. Kestrel parking is a small space so beware if you drive a large vehicle. The only changes, that could improve the stay for me was nicer towels and a heavier blanket. I will reccomend...

"My experience started rough but quickly was cleared up. I appreciated the attention to where they needed to do better. They pivot and get tmit fixed. All the greeters out front are super nice and helpful."

"If you advertise as a hotel you should have someone on call 24/7. Called and left a voicemail around 11 pm and there was no response. Clearly even if you dont want to staff the front desk overnight someone should pick up the phone and answer voicemails."

"great location, room was great, hallways and elevator area are a bit dated and dark. otherwise a great place to stay to get around Philly. stafff was great. did not try the restaurant or coffee shop. market street is at times a bit sketchy"
